FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS IN THE PHILIPPINES

Australia’s Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) has developed a list of acceptable financial institutions in Manila. The purpose of this list is to help visa applicants understand how they can meet financial requirements for the grant of a Student visa, by informing them which banks have been found to meet the definition of “financial institution” under Australia’s migration legislation.

Effective from 06 April 2011 for the purpose of meeting the financial requirements for a Student visa application lodged in the Philippines, a money deposit or loan will only be accepted from the following Philippines based
financial institutions.

DIAC reviews the list regularly.
