Study in Australia
Australia has a well-developed education system with participation rates and secondary school completion rates among the highest in the world. The high quality of the education system and the stability and security of Australian life have attracted students from many different countries to study in Australia. The presence of this diverse group of international students has in turn enriched the educational experience for all Australian students.
Australia's universities have strong international linkages across the entire range of their activities, from individual research collaborations through to joint ventures with universities in other countries. In particular, Australia works to develop strong education relationships with its neighbors in the Asia Pacific Region.
Each year, Australia welcomes an increasing number of international students to its universities, institutes, colleges and schools. Australia ranks third in the English-speaking world behind the United States and Britain as an international student destination.
International students are attracted by the excellence of Australian education and training, the world's best practice quality and financial assurances, the national qualifications framework and the welcoming environment of a technologically advanced, safe, multicultural society.
In the Philippines, the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) promotes Australian education through initiatives such as the "Study in Australia" campaign. Austrade regularly organizes and supports exhibitions and activities participated in by Australian colleges, universities and institutions.
